I looked at your blog but couldn't find any pictures of your hair to try and help you out with typing. But I think your stylist may be talking about the Mizani Curl Key (the Andre Walker system only goes up to Type 4). It's best explained here: http://www.mizani-usa.com/your-hair--inspiration/discover-your-curl-type/coiled. I would say that a Type 6 best correlates to a 4a head of hair, but I can't be totally sure without seeing it.

What I would say though is that hair typing really isn't that important as no two heads are the same. I only find it useful for styling inspiration and knowing my limits (for example my 4b hair won't do Zoe Saldana's hair is doing in that picture and vice versa). So don't worry too much about it!

Mariama xTHEMafroSISTERShttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08936621483934532252noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7275100455994344403.post-57232478562887904212013-08-16T07:14:54.275+01:002013-08-16T07:14:54.275+01:00My stylist told me I may be a Type 6, yet I can fi...My stylist told me I may be a Type 6, yet I can find no info on this type.
